Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Birchfield and Helen Birchfield. He is survived by: his wife Louise Birchfield; his children, Judy Morgan of Andrews and David Birchfield (Tawana) of Marble; his grandchildren, Anna McLendon (Chris), Kadie Birchfield and Butch Holloway; and his great grandchildren, Clyde and Emma McLendon. He is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, and many other relatives.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home - Andrews (126 Cherry St, Andrews, NC 28901). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
