He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Payne and Bethel Marie Watkins Payne; and his wife Barbara Hughes Payne. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Stiles (Jeff) of Marble, Tammy Luther (Jerry) of Andrews and Pam Rose (Keith); his siblings, Doil Payne (Shirley) of Andrews, Bill Payne of Andrews, Patsy Hyde (Larry) of Andrews and Peggy Adams (Steve) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Max Davis, Elizabeth Davis (Justin), Bethany Luther, Kayla Roberts, Katlyn Carter (Brian) and Sarah Brown (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Nichole, Abigail, Macie, Chelsea, Kinzley, Madeleine, Davis, Jameson and Luke.
