He is survived by: his children, Larry Dean Beard, Jr. (Susie) of Andrews, Anthony Ray Beard (Stacy) of Andrews, Teresa McArn (Bryan) of Andrews and Helen Elaine Hill of Marble; his brothers, Russell Tanner of Dallas, NC and Charles "Pete" Tanner of Murphy; his siblings-in-law, Linda Tanner of Gastonia, NC and Larry Derreberry; and his grandchildren, Josh Holloway, Matthew, Brittany, Katelyn Creasman, Jordan, Tyler West, Larissa Lance, Ian, Waylon Curtis, Alicia Farley, Steven, Sasha Guffey, Logan Beard and Alexa Oath. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
