He was predeceased by: his parents, William Troy and Hazel Mosteller Neal. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Watson Neal; his children, Christopher Neal of Louisville, Crystal Jackson Neal of Annville and John W. Watson Neal of Jonestown, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Michael, Nathan, Natalie and Emma Grace.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home - Andrews (126 Cherry St, Andrews, NC 28901). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
