Rhonda Raxter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhonda Raxter of Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Bronnon "Jim" Bryant of Nantahala. She is survived by: her mother Juanita Taylor Bryant; her husband Ted W. Raxter; her children, Keyla Heard (Gary) of Murphy, Dustin Raxter (Zella) of Wesser Creek, Jeremy Bronnon Raxter (Kristy) of Andrews, Jay Westley Raxter of Andrews and Travis Hogsed (Tabitha) of Andrews; her brothers, Tony Bryant (Kelly) of Marble, Michael Bryant (Susie) of Andrews, Dean Bryant (Cindy) of Gastonia and Doug Bryant (Cathy) of Nantahala; her grandchildren, Savannah Gray, Chase O'Dell, Channah, Jacob Raxter, Brianna Guffey, Dante Raxter and Maximus Hogsed; and her great grandchild Oaklynn Gray. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home - Andrews (126 Cherry St, Andrews, NC 28901). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
