With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Skinner Tallant of Andrews, North Carolina, born in Gainesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Harrison and Edith Robenna Wood Skinner; and her brother Philip Skinner. She is survived by: her husband Don Tallant of Andrews, NC; her sons, Edward Harrison Tallant (Chalnicia Gibson) of Andrews, NC and Mack Donald Tallant (April) of Robbinsville, NC; her brother Harry Skinner (Sara) of Gainesville, GA; and her grandchildren, Ethne, Electa, Jackson, Zoe, Eli and Chase.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Andrews United Methodist Church (101 Chestnut St, Andrews, NC 28901). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
