He was predeceased by: his parents, Woody Raxter and Lola Raxter; and his siblings, Gerald, Jack, John, Ray, Ralph, Catherine, Polly, Edith and Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Andrews First Baptist Church (1606 Business Hwy 19, Andrews, NC 28901). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
