He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Warren and Lidabel Pugh Bookwalter; his wife Mary Lou DeLesline; his children, George Dwight Bookwalter and Cynthia Lou Bookwalter; and his sister Libby Ann Bryant.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Long (Stanley); his sister Kathryn Rexford-Penner; his brother-in-law James DeLesline (Donna); and his grandchildren, Joshua Long (Joesmarie), Andrew Bookwalter (Sheena), Katie Watson (Eric) and Logan Bookwalter (Hope). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
