He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Anderson Cobb and Annie Jackson Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mangum Cobb; his children, Alton Earl Cobb, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC and Celena Renee Cobb (Ekko Niedermeier) of Melbourne Beach, FL; the mother of his children Brenda Godwin Cobb; his sisters, Sandra Ann Cobb of Coats, NC and Vicki Cobb Dupree (Ronald) of Dunn, NC; his grandchildren, Hannah Sconiers (Wendell) of Holly Springs, NC and Malcom Gerami (Scarlet) of Flemingsburg, KY; and his great grandchildren, Julian Sconiers and Olivia Sconiers. He is also survived by his grandchildren's horse.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (395 E Depot St, Angier, NC 27501).
