She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Colleen Raper (Ronnie), Tom Dougherty (Rakishia) and Jennifer Sloan (Matt); her grandchildren, Wooten Dougherty, Rebecca Reaves (Wade), Anna Gracen Rodriguez (Daniel), Joshua Raper, Jacob Sloan, Christian Dougherty, Elijah Sloan and Abel Sloan; her great grandchildren, William, Hudson, Archer and Jackson Reaves; and her sisters, Jackie and Lillian. She is also survived by grandmother and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mid-Way Baptist Church (6910 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
