With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Joyce Hedgepeth of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Dupree and Lillian Smith Dupree. She is survived by: her husband Elvin Hedgepeth; and her children, Nicky Hedgepeth (Vickie) of Willow Spring, Connie Fontanini of Greeneville, TN, Trudy Smith (Mark) of Willow Spring, Joy Capps of Willow Spring and Misty Lewis (Keith) of Willow Spring. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
