It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cuzzie Elizabeth Wilson of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Cuzzie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cuzzie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sisters, Carolyn Lawrence of Colerain, NC and Nancy Wilson of Holly Springs; her parents, John Salmon Wilson and Esther Potts Wilson; her siblings, Judy Wilson and Joseph Wilson; her close friend Harry; and her family, Hal Lawrence (family: Mac Lawrence, John Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Mary Frances Guilliams) and Esther Jo Davis.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery.
