He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Salter and Rena Louise Daniels Salter. He is survived by: his wife Carol Craven Salter; his children, Maria Salter (Manny Elbaltimy) and Edwin "Ed" Salter, Jr. (Ann Grant); his sister Rena Bogle (Clyde Bogle); and his grandchildren, Nigel Salter, Alexandra Elbaltimy and Adam Elbaltimy. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
