He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Dean and Emma Dean; his wife Retha Dean; and his daughter Shirley Sellers. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Wilkins, Terri Farmer and Ruby Mills. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren.
