He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Eason (L. D.) and Nell Mabry Eason; and his brother Tim Eason. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Norris Eason; his children, Joel Eason of Cary, Sarah Eason Brooks of Fuquay Varina, Heather Clements (James) of Fuquay Varina, Wesley Eason of Fuquay Varina and Jeremy Mitchell (Jolie) of Fuquay Varina; his grandchildren, Kyla Mitchell, Graeson Weaver, Logan Clements, Mia Clements, Carson Creech and Xavier Brooks; his great grandchildren, Delilah and Atticus Bain; and his siblings, Wanda Stephenson of Angier and Mark Eason of Angier.
