He was predeceased by: his parents, T. H. Stephenson and Carrie Marie Stephenson of Angier; his wife Linda Blalock Roderick; and his brother Gary Stephenson. He is survived by: his daughter Torri Hobson; his siblings, Ray Stephenson (Sonja) of Fuquay Varina, Gerald Stephenson (Cindy) of Florida and Phyllis Turner of Virginia; his grandchildren, Matthew Hobson and Stacy Hobson; and his great grandchild Karsyn Hobson.
