He is survived by: his daughter Catie Burnette; his son-in-law George Burnette of Raleigh; his granddaughter Lillian Burnette; and his siblings, Cass Howell, Heather Miller of LaGrange, Andy Miller of LaGrange and David Miller (Ellen) of Annapolis, Maryland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
