She was predeceased by: her parents, Delma R. Wiggins and Ila B. Wiggins; her husband Lacy Brooks Young; and her siblings, Josephine Johnson and Benton Wiggins.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Y. Massengill (Danny) of Angier; her grandchildren, Laura B. Wood (Pat) of Angier and Leigh M. Lewis (Justin) of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Josh Wood, Vance Wood, Willa Wood, Rowen Lewis, Mason Lewis, April Taylor (John) and Jessica Miller (Colby); and her sister Brookie Stephenson of Angier.
