She is survived by: her husband Randy Powell; her parents, Drew Bevis and Eileen Smollins; her stepfather Joseph Smollins; her sister Kristine Russell; her brother-in-law Thomas Russell; her brother Michael Bevis (Suzanne Bevis); and her siblings' children, Keith Russell, Ryan Russell and Sarah Russell. She is also survived by many loving Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A reception was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
