It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickie Armentrout of Angier, North Carolina, born in Covington, Virginia, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Armentrout and Velma Armentrout; and his son Ronnie Sprayberry. He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his children, Christian (Amanda) of Zebulon, NC and Nichole of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Ronnie, Sophia Mullins, Easton Armentrout, Sarah, Madison, Robert and Andi of Angier; his sister Vickie Lucas (Joey) of Pittsboro; his sibling's children, Meghan Lucas (Corey) of Silk Hope and Hunter Lucas of Pittsboro; his extended family, Mike Paxton and Pauline Knick of Covington, VA.; and his friends, Chris Moss of Timberlake, Huck Smith of Emerald Isle and Willie Huerth of Mt. Pleasant, SC..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier (300 E McIver St, Angier, NC 27501). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Angier Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (395 E Depot St, Angier, NC 27501).
