He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dorsett and Lois Morris Adams; and his wife Dot Liles. He is survived by: his stepson Terry; his grandchildren, Crystal and Addison; his friend Alice; and his brothers, James of Michigan and Max "Doc" (Portia Adams). He is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
