“I spent my childhood in Mr. Henline's yard. While Mr. Henline took great care to manicure his yard, he allowed the neighborhood kids to drive badminton nets into his grass and leave marks down his hill after a great winter of sledding. At Christmas I would wait for the star on his house to be lit. In the summer we would "meet at Mr. Henline's Yard". We spent hours on his porch swing or playing in his creek. He would watch from his deck, allowing us to just be kids. What a gift he gave.”
