She is survived by: her husband Terry Barfield; her daughters, Teri and Gwendolyn Barfield of Angier, NC; her grandchildren, Whitley and Messiah Barfield; her siblings, Peggy Green of Fayetteville, NC, James Haywood of Rocky Mount, NC and Timothy Haywood (Lisa Haywood); and her aunts, Frances Inman, Bertha Lesane and Nancy Blackmon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
