It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen John Dey of Angier, North Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dey and Kathy Dey; and his sister Linda Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Lauren Perro (Thomas Perro) and Steve Dey (Atara Dey); and his stepchildren, Catherine Mitchell, Johnny Carroll and Matthew Carroll (Cassandra Carroll).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Gathering Community Church (501 Wake Chapel Rd, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526).
