He was predeceased by: his father Edward Jack Brown; his brothers, John Franklin Brown and Edward Neil Brown Jr.; and his son Steven Dale Brown Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Brown of Newport, NC; his wife Lori Brown; his daughters, Trina Tevepaugh of Newport, NC and Michelle Muskelly (Jay) of Four Oaks, NC; his sister Diane Bisesi of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Steven Brown, Christopher Brown, Leeanna Brown Castillo-Jauregui, Aden Brown, Logan Brown Kelly, Ava Muskelly and Scarlett Muskelly; his great grandchild Zella Castillo-Jauregui; his son-in-law Steve Massita; and his son Christopher. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).
