He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Patterson Sr. and Gladys Juanita Patterson; and his sisters, Doris Hardison and Janet Patterson. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Grice (Arthur) of Angier; his grandchildren, Nolan, Kamden and Trace Grice; his siblings, Nancy Payne, Connie Dandridge (Bubba) and George Patterson; and his close friend Connie Ferrell of Sanford. He is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews.
