Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anne Marie Butz of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on November 19, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brantley Parker and Dorothy McLean Parker; her siblings, Linda Gower and Arthur "Chris" Parker; and her cousin Dianne Moorefield.
She is survived by: her husband William Butz; her son Alan; her daughter-in-law Renee Wimbish; her grandchildren, Shawn, Samuel, Savannah and Shelby; her son Zachary; her niece Susan Gower; Crystal Butz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apex Funeral Home (550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the Wake Memorial Park (7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
The family asks in lieu of flowers, to please donate to one of the three organizations that she was passionate about: Autism Society of North Carolina, CEF of Greater Raleigh Area, and the North Carolina State University JC Raulston Arboretum. Keep Anne's light shining and donate in her honor.
