He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles Holmes and Mattie Holmes; his wife Rebecca Hayden Holmes; his children, Shannon Wallace Smith (Steve) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Lisa Holmes Davis (Jon) of Apex, Brandon Holmes of Raleigh, NC and Hayden Holmes of Houston, TX; his brother Marty Holmes of Blythewood, SC; and his grandchildren, Hanna Smith of Cherry Hill, NJ, Shane Smith of Cherry Hill, NJ, Olivia Davis of Apex, NC. and MacKenzie Davis of Apex, NC..
