He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boone and Nellie Boone. He is survived by: his wife Debby Boone of Apex, NC; his brother Frank Boone (Kathy) of Raleigh, NC; his children, Daniel Boone Jr. (Katie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Jennifer Longworth (Ty) of Cramerton, NC; his grandchildren, Teddy and Leona; and his caregiver Tiffany of Heartland Hospice.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
