With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keri Boness Pease of Apex, North Carolina, born in Lake Forest, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Vance and Sadie Pease of Apex; her parents, Darrell Boness and Jackie Boness of Wake Forest; her former husband Marty Pease of Apex; her sisters, Kristin Firewicz (David) of Fork Union, VA, Kimberly Boness of Wake Forest and Kelci Smithmeyer (Colby) of Harvest, AL; and her siblings' children, Harper Smithmeyer, Daniel Firewicz, Grayson Boness and Cole Smithmeyer. She is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the The Sutherland (13371 Wake Union Church Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A wake will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the same location.
