It is with sadness that the passing of Maxine Dean Hutchens of Apex, North Carolina is shared. Maxine, born on October 25, 1940, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Hutchens; her children, Kelly Nicholson (Jamie) of Raleigh, Allyson Teem (David) of Bath and Robert Hutchens; her grandchild Hogan Teem; her parents, Kessel Dean and Geraldine Dean; and her siblings, Patricia Baldwin, Kenny, Robert, Bill and Donald Dean.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dustin Hutchens, Tanner Hutchens (Renee), Bridget Newman and Jessica Parrish (Steven); and her brother David Dean. She is also survived by her granddaughters, her daughter, and her son-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Apex Funeral Home (550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at 480 Lake Eva Marie Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603.
