She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brewer and Ruth Clapp Deaton. She is survived by: her daughters, Hilary Dieckmann and Lindsay Dieckmann; her brothers, Paul "Pete" Deaton and Roy Lynn Deaton; her siblings-in-law, Jan and Kim; and her sisters, Vera Kopiec and Jonelle Lowe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Ennis St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
