He was predeceased by : his parents, Nick McDougald and Jewell McDougald. He is survived by : his wife Velma McDougald; his siblings, Nickie O'Quinn, Sherry Corona (Joe) and Ronnie McDougald (Sharon); his nieces and nephews, Susan Wilson (Mike), Dana Woodall (Damon), Debbie Coggins (Alan), Johnny Corona (Pam) and Joey Corona (Jill); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Callie Taylor (Terryn), Carlie Wilson (Kaden), Justin Coggins, Jordan Coggins and Max Corona.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to the American Diabetes Association.
