It is with sadness that the passing of Michael A. Johnston (Apex, North Carolina) is shared. Michael, born on September 11, 1959, passed away on August 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his father James Johnston. He is survived by: his mother Marlene LaLonde Johnston; his wife Teresa Lynch of Patrick's Cathedral; his children, Matthew Johnston and Alanna Buyer; and his sisters, Jackie Johnston and Mimi Topping. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene RC Church (625 Magdala Pl, Apex, NC 27502).
