We announce the death of Michael Dale Shepard of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 66. He is survived by: his wife Fenita Morris Shepard; his children, Donovan Shepard and Cameron Shepard; his sisters, Linda Smith (Dee), Renee Sidberry (Pete) and Mamie Fontes; and his siblings-in-law, Gisele Sidbury, Dani White and Milton Redd, Sr.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (3703 Tryon Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
