In lieu of flowers, Kay would have wanted us to donate school supplies to a teacher friend or donate to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.

I saw her at some of her highest moments and at the lowest of lows. She was a strong woman, one who could fight with all her might for what she believed. So, dear family, I extend my deepest sympathy to each of you. John, I especially feel for you. Know that you are loved and that many prayers were prayed for Kay.”
