It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Mae Essom of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Potter and Beatrice Potter; her husband Jack; and her sister Barbara Batty. She is survived by: her children, J. Timothy Essom of Lansdale, PA, Tracy Moreland (Jim) of Winder, GA and Tanya Durand (Charles) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Julie, Jim, Ashley and Angela; and her great grandchildren, Camden and Maddox.
