He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Long Haynie, Sr. and Kathleen Pinckard Haynie; his wife Arlene Haynie; his children, Katie Caggia (Peter Caggia), Tommy Haynie (Shannon Haynie) and Lauren Haynie; and his grandchildren, Chris Caggia, Brendan Caggia, Ashlyn Haynie, Jack Haynie and Makenly Haynie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Apex Funeral Home (550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle or the Apex Public School Foundation in his honor.
