She was predeceased by: her father Bryant Wills. She is survived by: her husband John R. Bland, Sr.; her sons, John R. Bland Jr. (Genesis) of Trinity, NC and Christian B. Bland of Apex, NC; her mother Cathy Wills of Apex; her brother Carson L. Daughtry (Kim) of Wake Forest, NC; her nephews, Luke and Jake Daughtry; and her granddaughters, Sophia Melody Bland and Elizabeth K. Bland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vanessa's memory to the American Liver Foundation to support research and care for others facing similar challenges.
