She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Cline and Fannie Evans Cline; her daughter Judy Lawson; and her siblings, Helen Hicks and Vernon Marshall.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Garcia; her children, Toby Tilley (Karen) of Germanton, Steven "Skip" Tilley (Tina) of Huntland, TN, Debbie Forrest of Galax, VA, Mitzie Bowman of Stokesdale and Tina Murphy of Ararat; her grandchildren, Lori Lawson and Christie Lynch; her great grandchild Lane "Butterball" Lawson; and her close friend Kenneth Beavers. She is also survived by several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Cross Road Baptist Church (140 E Nc 67 Hwy Bypass, East Bend, NC 27018). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
