She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Emmett Meador and Grace Lilly Meador; her husband Buddy Bare; her son David Wayne Bare; her sister Betty Humphreys; and her niece Tammy Hogan.
She is survived by: her children, Diann East (Denny) of Ararat, NC, Ricky Bare (Patty) of Ararat, NC and Sandy Burdette of Crab Orchard; her siblings, Robert Meador (Marsha) of Maryland, Arnold Hatcher (Wendy) of Maryland and Norma Abbott (Richard) of Woodstock, Virginia; her daughter-in-law Dollie Bare of Norwood, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Hall of Beckley and Clyde Bare (Nora) of Crab Orchard.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (5251 Robert C Byrd Dr, Beckley, WV 25801).
