She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Junior and Mary Magdaline Nichols Hamby. She is survived by: her husband William Harvey Ford, Sr. of New London; her children, Billy Ford (Tina) of Trinity, Scott Ford (Shanda) of Archdale and Christy Ford of Sophia; her brother Raymond Hamby of Archdale; her grandchildren, Billy Ford III, Jordan Ford, Tyler Ford, Lorin Lathan and Kynslee Ford; and her great grandchildren, Lennan-Gray Ford and Lottie-Mae Ford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Confidence Advent Christian Church (4040 Confidence Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
