She was predeceased by : her parents, Alonzie Doc Johnson and Nora Francis Hinshaw Johnson; her husband James Eugene Elliott; her grandson Ryan Shelton; and her sisters, Mae Francis Faircloth and Rosie Mangum.

She is survived by : her children, Mark Elliott, Pamela Overman (Charlie) and Gina Shields (Tim); her grandchildren, Brandon Randleman (Ellen), Lisa Parham (Alex), Brittany White (Chip), Scott Shields (Aiyana) and Katie Shields; her great grandchildren, Ryan Randleman, Destinyi Randleman, Aubree Rooney, Karma White, Maddox White, Hudson Parham, Kai Shields, Maddix Shields and Caroline Parham; and her brother Henry Johnson. She is also survived by several other great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
