He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Farabee and Evelyn Mann Farabee; his siblings, Allan, Mike and Robin; and his grandson Jeremy.

He is survived by : his wife Becky Snyder Farabee; his daughters, Penny McCoy (Vince), Sherry Morphis (Chris) and Candy Willis (Darrell McDowell); his sister Cathy Riley (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Brittany, Madison and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Olivia, Tabitha, Brianna, Logan and Damien.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ebenezer Memorial Association Chapel (2098 Ebenezer Church Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
