With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland Berry Lohr of Archdale, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 78. In the vast expanse of eternity, Garland shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Garland farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Daniel Lohr and Bercelia Margaret Heilig Lohr. He is survived by: his son Frankie Dwayne Lohr (Tammy) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Felicia Henson (Adam Lawson) of Thomasville, Faith Weavil (Noah) of Thomasville and Trinity Lohr of Archdale; his great grandchildren, Jase Lawson and Emilia Lawson; and his siblings, Earl Lohr (Florence) of Texas and Judy Johns (Glen) of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
