We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2020, at the age of 64, Gwen Taylor of Archdale, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jim Dale. She is survived by: her close friend Ending Homelessness; her husband Ken Taylor; her pet Darcy; her son Eric Taylor (Aspen); her mother Florence Maness Dale; her siblings, Brenda Allred (Steven) and Eddie Dale (Libby); and her grandchildren, Parker, Raleigh, Charleston and Vance.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, a service to celebrate Gwen's life will be private.

Memorials in Gwen's memory may be made to Archdale Friends Meeting, 114 Trindale Road, Archdale, NC or Communities in Schools of Randolph County, 1011 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro NC 27203.

“To Gwen's loved ones, I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Gwen at Communities in Schools of Randolph County many years ago. She had a true heart for helping the under-served children throughout Randolph County and worked tirelessly to see that as many needs as possible were met - from backpacks filled with food for the weekends, to mentoring, special programs, etc. She will be greatly missed my many, especially her loved ones.
