He is survived by: his spouse Fay Walls of Sophia, NC.; his children, Karl Lee Reitzel (Kathryn Goncharow Reitzel) of Trinity, NC and Julia Gail Reitzel Barton of Atlanta, GA; his granddaughters, Julee Ann Reitzel of Trinity, NC and Lauren Faith Barton of Atlanta, GA.; and his nieces, Lilly Cole of Franklinville, NC and Winnie Allred of Randleman, NC.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Balfour Baptist Church (1642 N Fayetteville St, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
