He was predeceased by: his parent Beverly Payne Kivett; and his brother Rodney Todd Kivett. He is survived by: his father Jerry Kivett (Lori); his son Taylor Kivett (Hannah) of Archdale; his siblings, Genia Hightower (Chris) of Burlington, Kristen Johnson (Adam Beeson) of Climax, Jeff Kivett (Kimberly) of Randleman and Greg Kivett (Rebecca) of Climax; and his grandchildren, Braden Kivett, Montgomery Kivett and Silas Kivett. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Asheboro Church of God (197 Lewallen Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
