She was predeceased by: her parent Vermell Stilley Lawson; her husband James D. Stanley; her stepdaughter Debbie Johnson; her brothers, Kenneth Stilley and Calvin Lawson; and her daughter-in-law Suann Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Reid and Nancy Stanley; her stepsons, James A. Stanley (Donna) and Richard Stanley (Gena); her siblings, Jerry Lawson and Kay Wiles; and her grandson Tyler Stanley. She is also survived by caregiver and advocate for the last several years of her life; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
