She was predeceased by: her parents, James Patterson and Ruby Wright Cornell. She is survived by: her husband Michael Edward Daniel; her daughter Stacey Phillips; her granddaughter Kaelyn Ladd of Clarksville, TN; and her siblings, Charles Cornell (Gina) of Elkton, KY, Robert Cornell (Amanda), Debbie Oglesby and Brenda Bourland (Ralph) of Nortonville, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prospect Global Methodist Church (5553 Prospect St, High Point, NC 27263).
